Iran’s favorable condition in the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) has caused more than %69 of the country's
pharmaceutical needs to be produced domestically. APIs due to their scienti c chemical processes and their relatively high costs are often
produced by two countries, India and China. Clearly, the quality of the APIs is the most important factor in the quality and e ectiveness of
the nal medicine; a subject which is commonly associated with the negligence of most of the producers in Iran.

Except for a few of the great chemistry scientists of the country, the rest of the producers have not made any e orts to maintain the quality
of their products at the global level. This factor has been the reason for the impossibility of exporting Iranian medicines to other countries.
Therefore, Actover group by considering the economical conditions of the country and the impossibility of using government’s currency for
importing quality products with the global standards decided to start its Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients manufacturing plant in order
to use those APIs in its pharmaceutical products which could compete with the world’s largest manufacturers in terms of quality and global
standards. At the same time, those APIs can meet the needs of those pharmaceutical manufacturers who need to improve the quality of
their products in order to enter the global markets.

The transfer of world-class technology in the manufacturing and processing of APIs is one of the biggest achievements that has never
been seen in the country before, and generally, the related science available to other API manufacturers in Iran do not conform to the
world needs. Therefore, the opening of the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients manufacturing plant of Actover group named Actobiochem,
in addition to the technology transfer of complex manufacturing processes of APIs to the country, enable us to produce word quality
products with global standard which can compete with the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies for our beloved country, Iran. This
utmost importance will occur with the help of Almighty God and the e orts and follow-ups of Iranian valuable experts.
