For different reasons, Iran is counted as one
of the most strategic countries in the whole
world by having lots of natural, unnatural and
educated hu¬man resources, low-cost energy,
strategic location, access to free waters, etc.
During the past decades, this country has made
a huge development and certainly has great
potential in sectors like science, technology
and industry.

The most important and main factors for
manufacturing pharmaceutical raw materials
like being rich in minerals, production of
petrochemical products and having enough
technical knowledge has surely provided great
potentials for Iran in these factors. Known as
one of the greatest countries based on having
oil reserves, a strong petrochemical industry
has been formed in this country and during the
last couple of years, tech¬nical knowledge of
manufacturing pharmaceutical raw materials
and fin¬ished products have grown so rapidly

that right now 71.2% of raw materials and
97% of finished dosages of country’s demand
is met domestically.
Iran as one of the pioneers of the petrochemical
industry in the heart of Middle East is completely
ready for foreign investments. By investing in
Iran, foreign investors can make a good profit
from the domestic market and exporting the
products to other countries; where more than
one billion people are in need of medicines.
This population with a growing demand simply
clarifies the importance of investing in a region
like the Middle East and especially in Iran as
a country that has a good infrastructure and
more than 180 companies in both finished
and API sectors.
